The Irondequoit Vikings Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization is now entering its 52nd year of serving our children and their families in the West Irondequoit community.  Our goal is simple - to promote an ongoing youth football and cheer program in Irondequoit, and to inspire in all our participants the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness, regardless of race, color, gender or creed.  The Vikings firmly believe in the future of our children through academics, social achievement, and having fun and positive experiences on and off the field. 

We pride ourselves on being the feeder program for the West Irondequoit High School Eagles football and cheer programs.  The goal of our partnership with the high school coaching staff is to help develop our players and cheerleaders to best prepare them for success on those teams.  We are thankful to have access to the great coaching resources on our high school teams and look forward to continually strengthening this relationship with each and every Vikings season.

   Vikings Equipment / Uniform Pick Up

Equipment pick up for B & C football teams and B & C & Flag Cheer teams will be held on two days.  All players/parents are required to pick up their equipment at one of these two dates/times.  Please ensure you have the child that will be playing with you to ensure that we can fit them appropriately with all the equipment/uniforms they will need.  Please note: Flag football players do not need to attend, however Flag Cheer will need to pick up their uniforms.

Fundraiser: you will receive your fundraising packet at this time and fundraiser will begin as soon as you receive your packet. All the details about this will be included in the packet with important dates for return and pick up of items. If you choose to sell Candy as your fundraising commitment, we will have these at equipment pickup on these dates. You will need to buy 4 of them when you get them @ $60 per box. There is a minimum to sell of 4 boxes per child and a maximum of (10) for families over 2 children. If you choose NOT to sell Zap-A-Snack frozen items or candy items, a buyout is available.  The buyout is $125/per child for the first two children ($250) and $50 for each child thereafter.

Registration information: At this time you can turn in any missing information (photo, physical form, etc). Please note: In order to receive your child’s uniform, all registration fees must be paid in full. We will accept payment on both of the pick-up days as well.

While flag football players do not need to attend, flag parents who want a two week head start on fundraising, or need to complete registration packets/payments, are encouraged to attend.

Practice apparel: As part of their uniform, all Cheerleaders & Football players will receive a practice Jersey or T-Shirt. A 2nd practice item will be available for purchase. We will accept all forms of payments including credit card. Extra Cheer T-Shirts will be $10 and extra Football Jerseys B & C will be $20 with an additional $5 for lettering on the back, and extra Flag football wear will be sold for $10.

With practices starting on 8/1, it is critical that all players have their equipment and these are the only two dates that we will be conducting hand out.  If for some reason you cannot attend, it is very important that you contact us to make alternative arrangements as quickly as possible.
